Its truly incredible how good the iPhone camera is. I can at time take some really amazing photographs. It also helps when you are photographing, a beautiful place.
Maine was spectacular. We took the back roads on our way down. Threw White Mountain National Forest.
It was a sight to behold, one that the iphone camera could not capture. It was more spectacular than any photograph I took.
Then Maine, its beautiful beaches, and endless ocean. Beautiful quaint holmes, medium sized holmes and giant plantation style holmes.
Standing on the rocks looking out at the Ocean, I was at peace.
I closed my eyes and felt the wind rush round me.
The sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks,
It was like taking a breath of fresh air for the first time.
Every problem, all my concerns melted away into nothing,
Standing on the rocks looking out at the Ocean, I am at peace.
We were informed that during the fall and winter, the population of Maine is approximately 7000, But in the summer months it grows to a population of 77000 people.
We then went and visited the beaches, they were incredible.
They seemed, at some points as though they went on forever.
What really caught my eye, were the patterns left in the sand by the tide.
Like the peaks of mountains pointing towards the water.
Later that night we had a fire on the beach with some of the locals.
A joyful group that welcomed us among them and treated us as friends.
We played and sang songs together, with the endless crashing of the waves all around us.
Later on in the night as we were putting out the fire and getting ready to leave the tide had come in and covered most of the area that we had played in before it got dark.
As we filled the buckets with water to put them out, we noticed a glow in the waters edge.
There were thousands of little minnows or plancton, or bugs that were swimming and glowing.
It was beautiful,
The next day we visited Boston, where we met a slew of wonderful people at Church.
After our meetings we left and started our journey back home.
We were blessed with beautiful weather and spectacular scenery once again.
After dropping of Haedrian in Montreal, as we drove across the Champlain Bridge the sun Started setting. It was the longest Sunset I remember witnessing. It must have lasted for at least an hour or more.
As I stared off into the sunset, a smile appeared on my face as I looked out at the silhouettes of the passing landscapes, my thoughts turned to home, to the people I had missed, the friends and life I was coming back to. It was a great trip, a wonderful experience, but I was coming back home.
